What a little kid can teach you

"Accept what's broken, fix what you can, and adapt to what you can't, and in doing so, you discover new joys in simpler things".

- From Mr Brown's blog entry

Its true what a little kid can teach you.
We look at ourselves, at the people around us, when did we NOT complain/grumble when things don't work or did not meet our expectations?

Like the little kid, perhaps we should try to be a little patient and try not to complain so much about things cos I believe to every problem, there will always be a solution.

What do people usually complain about ?
These are what I can think of:

We complain about the hot weather, complain about the rainy days, complain about waiting, complain things cannot work etc etc

Why dont we look at the bright side of life?

when it's hot, we can tell ourselves to try to stay indoors
when it's raining, we should be glad that the weather is cooling
when clothes/shoes/household things is torn/stained/spoilt, take it as an excuse to buy new ones lah :)
When you are waiting in a long queue to see a doctor, pay at the cashier, order your food, make use of the time, listen to your music player, play with your phone, call a friend etc and time will pass by easily and you won't feel the pain of waiting

Here's a positive song I would like to share. Enjoy!

Always Look on the Bright Side of Life (from Monty Python)
- words and music by Eric Idle

Some things in life are bad
They can really make you mad
Other things just make you swear and curse.
When you're chewing on life's gristle
Don't grumble, give a whistle
And this'll help things turn out for the best...

And...always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the light side of life...

If life seems jolly rotten
There's something you've forgotten
And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing.
When you're feeling in the dumps
Don't be silly chumps
Just purse your lips and whistle - that's the thing.

And...always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the light side of life...

For life is quite absurd
And death's the final word
You must always face the curtain with a bow.
Forget about your sin - give the audience a grin
Enjoy it - it's your last chance anyhow.

So always look on the bright side of death
Just before you draw your terminal breath

Life's a piece of shit
When you look at it
Life's a laugh and death's a joke, it's true.
You'll see it's all a show
Keep 'em laughing as you go
Just remember that the last laugh is on you.

And always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the right side of life...
(Come on guys, cheer up!)
Always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the bright side of life...
(Worse things happen at sea, you know.)
Always look on the bright side of life...
(I mean - what have you got to lose?)
(You know, you come from nothing - you're going back to nothing.
What have you lost? Nothing!)
Always look on the right side of life...

I can tell you that I really need to look at the bright side of life coz my eldest son just came back with 3.5/20 for his Maths exam...
